Job Title
The Deputy Clinical Director position involves overseeing clinical operations and providing psychiatric care to patients. This role makes a significant contribution to medical education and safe patient-centered practice.
* Provide psychiatric services to patients, collaborating with the Clinical Director to lead departmental management and professional leadership.
* Develop and implement training programs for junior medical staff and healthcare teams, promoting expertise and effective collaboration.
* Evidence of vaccination against infectious diseases, including Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
* Tuberculosis screening to assess tuberculosis vaccination requirements.
* A declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
* Hold an MBBS or equivalent registrable qualification with the Medical Board of Australia, plus FRANZCP or equivalent acceptable to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and registrable as a Psychiatry specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Internationally trained candidates may require an acceptable Comparability Assessment undertaken by the appropriate Australian Specialist Medical College as part of the application process.
