As a Big Data Solution Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data solutions on AWS Cloud. You will analyse customer requirements and business contexts to implement architectural solutions, define standards and frameworks, and oversee complex changes to ensure ongoing stability and sustainability. Your role will also involve actively participating in the improvement of our architecture and engineering practices.- What you offer
- 10-12 years of IT experience with at least 7 years in Data Engineering and Architecture
- 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS Data Technologies.
- Extensive experience in database and analytics systems development, deployment, and IT systems engineering, with a strong technical and analytical background.
- Proven implementation and tuning experience on AWS Cloud (EMR, Spark, Presto, Redshift), databases (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server), and data migration and integration.
- Hands-on project experience with scripting/programming languages and supporting tools such as Python, Java, Scala, and Bash.
- Familiarity with code management tools (e.g., Git) and DevOps tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams.A collaborative, empathetic, and commercially focused mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
