Overview
As a Maintenance Fitter at Visy, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You'll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.
Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment
* Install and upgrade mechanical systems and equipment
* Keep accurate maintenance records in line with quality standards
* Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient, transparent and deliver required results
* Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted
* Monitor all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance
What You Will Bring To The Team
* Recognised trade qualification (Fitter)
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Hands on practical experience in a maintenance environment
* Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
* Forklift license desirable

Shift details: Monday to Friday, night shift (10pm to 6am)
Pay rate: $50.00 per hour + 30% shift loading
