Catherine McAuley College Bendigo is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Instrumental Music Tutors specialising in Guitar and/or Strings to join our vibrant and growing Music program.
We welcome applications from experienced tutors, graduate teachers, and emerging musicians who are passionate about developing students' confidence, skills, and love of music.
About the Role
The successful applicants will:
Provide high-quality one-on-one and small‑group tuition in Guitar and/or Strings
* Support performance opportunities including concerts, ensembles, liturgical celebrations, and College events
* Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive Music team
* Work with students across a range of year levels and learning needs
* Assist with ensemble direction where appropriate (desirable but not essential)
The number of hours will be shaped by student demand. Applicants may apply for Guitar, Strings, or both.

* Are passionate music educators with strong pedagogical skills
* Demonstrate excellent communication and rapport with young people

* Possess strong organisational skills and reliability
* Are willing to engage in the broader life of the College community
* Hold (or can obtain) a current Working With Children Check (Employee)
A teaching qualification or VIT registration is welcomed but not required for tutor roles.
