The Role
We are seeking a
Strategic Vendor & Bid Manager
with deep experience in
corporate and government procurement, preferred supplier panel applications, and vendor management.
This is a part-time or consulting engagement (initially 2–3 days/week) with flexibility to scale.
What We're Looking For
Track record of winning panel appointments and
converting them into purchase orders / contracts
.
Solid knowledge of
Australian procurement frameworks
(corporate supplier portals, government standing offers, BuyICT, AusTender).
Excellent bid management skills: compliance matrices, proposal coordination, executive summaries, pricing structures.
Comfort working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with high autonomy.
ICT/digital/contractor services background strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure
preferred supplier / panel positions
with Australian corporations, enterprises, and government agencies (BuyICT, AusTender, state & local panels).
Lead and manage
EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and tender submissions
, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning.
Develop and maintain all required onboarding documentation (MSAs, insurance certificates, security/privacy policies, Modern Slavery statements - yes, that's right).
Build ongoing engagement frameworks with procurement and category managers, including SLA dashboards, QBRs, and vendor relationship management cadence.
Work closely with leadership on a
target company outreach strategy
and translate opportunities into panel access and actual engagements.
