Two positions available:

1 x ongoing position, 5 days per week (FTE 0.72)

1 x ongoing position, 3 days per week (FTE 0.43)

Term time only, commencing Term 1, 2026

St Virgil's College is looking to welcome two Outdoor Education Learning Support Officers. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a group of dedicated and motivated staff and educators at our Austins Ferry and Hobart campuses.

The Learning Support Officer (LSO) plays a pivotal role by providing valuable support to the Outdoor Education Team, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, age-appropriate, and positive learning experiences for all students. Your duties may include assistance with outdoor education instruction and overnight/ day trips, maintain/ repair/ purchase/ transport equipment (under guidance), and other activities as directed. The successful candidate will need to exhibit strong a personal commitment to the mission and vision of St Virgil's College and work within the confines of Commonwealth Privacy legislation.
