About the role
We're looking for a fully qualified, skilled and driven Electrician with proven experience in an industrial setting to become a part of our team.
This role will undertake electrical installation, testing and commissioning tasks on projects working across power generation assets. The focus will be on the installation works associated with new solar/diesel power station construction contracts to be delivered in remote areas of the Kimberley region.

Key responsibilities of the role:
* Provide wide range of electrical trade services for capital works projects
* Read and interpret single line diagrams (SLDs)
* Interpret wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams for control circuits
* Review general arrangement (GA) drawings for equipment and cable layouts
* Translate drawing details into practical installation requirements
* Install electrical systems, switchboards, distribution boards, control panels, lightning protection, surge protection, and earthing systems.
* Install, terminate and test cables and wiring
* Mark-up or red-line changes during installation for as-constructed records
* Complete inspection and test records, commissioning sheets, and compliance forms
Location
This position involves a drive-in/drive-out roster from Broome to remote Kimberley communities. Kimberley residents are strongly encouraged to apply, as are those willing to relocate to the region. Fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) options are available for applicants residing outside the Kimberley.
Our typical roster involves 18 days on followed by 12 days off. Given the nature and location of our work, we need candidates who are flexible with these roster cycles.
What you will need
You must demonstrate strong work ethics, integrity, safe work practices, a positive attitude and can adapt to different situations as they arise.
Essential criteria:
* Grade A Western Australian Electrical Licence
* Proven experience in an industrial setting
* Significant experience in installation and wiring
* Ability to interpret electrical power and control drawings
* Current and valid C class driving licence with a clear driving record
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences
* Willingness and ability to work in remote locations, including driving on unsealed roads
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
Desirable criteria:
* First Aid certification, including CPR and LVR
