This is a role for an experienced professional who can work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
About the Job:
* Work with NDIS participants to maximise their support budget and ensure they have access to the services and resources they need.
* Build relationships with participants, their families and carers to understand their needs and develop tailored support plans.
* Assist participants to gain access to mainstream or community services such as housing, education, transport and health.
* Develop participant capacity so they can exercise greater choice and control over their lives.
* E nsure all necessary paperwork and reporting are completed in a timely manner to comply with regulations.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have:
Key Requirements:
* A thorough understanding of disability services, NDIS and inclusion principles.
* The ability to identify barriers to supports and develop solutions to overcome them.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage conflict and resolve/mediate as required.
* Ability to work with a high busy caseload of participants, meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
* The ability to work autonomously and contribute to a team environment.
* Strong technology-based skills, including client information management systems and Microsoft Office suite of products.
