The SSA group is seeking a surveyor to join our client's team in Brisbane. Working primarily on land development projects. You will be joining one of Queensland's most respected multidisciplinary firms. This role is perfect for a surveyor who is seeking a long-term employer who will assist them with their QLD registration. Roles and Responsibilities Carries out cadastral surveys under direct supervision and detail, and engineering surveys as directed Lead field parties in a safe, professional and cost-effective manner. Create and maintain accurate records of all surveys. Ensures that the equipment used is calibrated and maintained in accordance with industry standards. Ensures that field assistants are kept gainfully employed at all times. When working in the field, ensure that private and public property is respected at all times. Special Skills Proficiency in the use of the company’s GPS and total station equipment. Proficiency in the processing of field data to enable final drafting of survey plans. Maintenance of field and computer records in accordance with the Surveyors Act and the company’s procedures. Requirements Relevant University Degree Registration as a surveying associate, Graduate Surveyor or surveyor under the Surveyors Act 2003.
