About the RoleAs the Service Manager, Youth Homelessness Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of programs supporting young people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness in the Redlands, Logan, and Brisbane regions. These services span crisis accommodation, transitional housing, and intensive case management, working to deliver safe, stable, and developmentally appropriate support for young people.
Working in close partnership with the Group Manager, you will oversee all aspects of service delivery and performance, including program operations, people leadership, financial sustainability, quality and practice governance, contractual compliance, and risk management. You will ensure services are responsive to the complex and evolving needs of young people, while aligning with Anglicare Southern Queensland's strategic priorities and commitment to best practice.
This role provides a unique opportunity to lead the establishment and implementation of the Beenleigh Youth Homelessness Accommodation program, a new 30‐unit facility for young people and young families. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a new service model, embedding strong operational foundations, and creating a safe, youth‐focused environment that promotes stability, independence, and positive long‐term outcomes.
You will champion a trauma‐informed, person‐centred approach, fostering a culture that prioritises safety, inclusion, and empowerment for young people. Through strong leadership and coaching, you will build and support high‐performing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring staff are equipped to deliver consistent, high‐quality care and support.
The role also requires strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement, working closely within internal programs, Service Managers, housing and homelessness networks, community partners, and funding bodies to strengthen service integration and create seamless care pathways for young people across the service system.
This position is ideally suited to a values‐driven and experienced leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for young people, driving service excellence, and leading impactful programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
