About the Role
As a
Maintenance Fitter
, you'll be the go-to expert for planned maintenance and reactive repairs. You'll work independently, manage your own schedule, and ensure every job meets our high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute maintenance activities across multiple Defence sites
Deliver planned servicing and urgent repairs on critical Defence assets
Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors for smooth project delivery
Maintain accurate documentation and asset registers
Champion safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
3+ years in a field-based, autonomous maintenance role
Strong technical knowledge of compressors, conveyors, and fluid/air systems
Experience in maintenance planning and project coordination
A proactive mindset and commitment to customer satisfaction
Must be Australian Citizen as you'll need a Defence Pass
