We have an opportunity available now for a hardworking and enthusiastic Apprentice Baker to join our team at Bakers Delight Toronto.
If you are someone who loves to get up early to make the most of the day, to earn a crust, to do a job you love, then you are exactly the type of person we want at Bakers Delight! Learn to mix, process and scratch bake a full range of Traditional, Artisan, and Sweet Doughs including sourdoughs, poolish and continental based breads.
At Bakers Delight, Our Bakers Are Responsible For
* Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
* Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
* Providing delightful customer service when required
* Assisting with stock control and production expenses
To be considered for this 'roll', you will need to:
* Have a passion for baking
* Be willing to enter into an apprenticeship
* Be a morning person! Shifts start as early as 2am
* Be available to work on a rotating roster, including weekends
* Have a positive attitude, love working in a team environment and learning new skills
* Be prepared to work hard and love getting your hands dirty
* Have basic literacy and numeracy skills
* To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. Apprentices will receive formal training and support from day one.
