The Role
">
* We have limited permanent full-time positions available in Castlemaine on both day and afternoon shifts. Both shifts include rostered days off, with afternoon shifts receiving additional penalty rates.

Your Duties
">
* You will operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in meat processing, including tasks such as packing, slicing, lifting, pushing, pulling, holding, and carrying.
* You will handle both raw and cooked meat products.
* You will adhere to strict food safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
* You will maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* You will collaborate with the production team and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and achieve daily targets.
* You will rotate tasks to ensure variety in daily duties.
* You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

About You

* You must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safe work practices at all times.
* You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with other team members.
* You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while completing repetitive tasks.
* You must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
* You must comfortably lift weights of 15-20 kg frequently.
* You must be able to work in chilled temperature rooms.
* You must have a hardworking attitude and the ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels.
* You must commit to following established procedures and health and safety practices.
* You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* You must have a genuine commitment to full-time working hours.
* You must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
