About the role
We are seeking a Paralegal to support our dynamic, friendly and inclusive professional team in our Adelaide office. The role will include:
* Preparing legal documents, statutory notices, and court documents and correspondence
* File management and client communication
* Undertaking legal research
* Assist solicitors with the day-to-day operations of files/client management
* General administration including billing
* Filing and general office / administration tasks
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must the following core values and skills:
* Experience in a legal administration/paralegal role preferable
* Strong analytical and reasoning skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail with excellent spelling and grammar
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Demonstrated ability to handle large volumes of work
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands
* Enjoy being part of a team committed to, and delivering, client excellence
Skills and experience
Oakbridge Lawyers shall provide on-the-job training in respect of our systems and documents. Previous experience in a legal setting is favourable though not essential. The position would be ideal for a law student who wants to also obtain exposure to, and experience in, the private legal sector (full time position). However, our over-riding focus is to secure a candidate that has the above core values and skills.
