We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional to fill the full-time role of Warehouse Shift Supervisor at our Bunbury branch.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be required to manage a team of up to 10 people and organise, supervise and control all work activity relating to receival, replenishment, assembly, loading and delivery of products. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.
Duties
Maintain all equipment service and maintenance schedules
Coach, mentor and execute performance management as required
Control and reduce warehouse expenses by minimising damages, wastage and overtime
Liaise with the Operations Manager regarding labour requirements and work process changes
Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to
Conduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food systems
Maintain truck run schedules and despatched truck registers
Skills and Experience
WA Police Clearance Certificate
Driver's licence
Forklift licence (advantageous)
Proven experience in warehousing and distribution management and inventory control
Exceptional time management and communication skills
Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
Experience managing rosters and resources within budget constraints
Understanding of HACCP, WHS and HR
Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team
