About the Opportunity
As a locally owned WA business, Heatseal specialises in Plantation Shutters & Double-Glazing manufactory and installation, servicing Bunbury and the Southwest Region.
In this full-time role, you will work in a team that Install Plantation Shutters for residential and light commercial customers around Bunbury and the South West area. Our Install team pride themselves on ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. You will be supported by our service team who will coordinate and schedule upcoming Installation jobs for you in a timely manner.
Whether you're seeking salaried full-time employment (including company vehicle, fuel, tools) or you prefer subcontracting opportunities – we are open to discussion. Applicants who may be on Visa's or Seeking Sponsorship, we are open to exploring these avenues should you have relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
* Conduct Check Measure and Installation of Internal Shutters (Aluminium, PVC, Timber) to precise specifications
* Strong understanding of different window types and shutter configurations, troubleshooting of any unforeseen installation issues
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment whilst onsite, adhering to all safety processes
* Maintain professional customer engagement, understanding their requirements and address any concerns
* Effective time management of scheduled installations, collaborating with the wider team to optimise installation processes and workflow
What we're looking for
* Specific experience in Shutter Installation would be highly regarded, alternatively proven hands-on experience in a related trade (cabinet making, carpentry, glazing)
* Strong technical knowledge of window installation techniques and best practices
* Good Attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset
* Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
* A valid driver's licence is essential
