About the Role
To support our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and results‐driven Business Development Manager – LPG & Industrial Gases to join our Wodonga branch. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for growing LPG and Industrial Gas sales across all markets within the designated Albury‐Wodonga territory. You will proactively identify customer needs, secure new business, manage existing accounts, and ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively develop new business opportunities, including face‐to‐face cold calling
* Grow LPG and Industrial Gas sales across all market segments
* Manage and take full ownership of the designated Albury‐Wodonga sales territory for LPG and Industrial Gases
* Identify market trends and provide monthly sales forecasts
* Follow up leads promptly and maintain detailed daily sales reporting
* Manage customer accounts and proactively re‐sign existing customers
* Liaise with internal departments to maximise customer service and delivery outcomes
* Attend trade shows and networking events
* Maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professional representation

Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a similar sales or business development role
* Gas industry experience is highly regarded but not essential
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals
* Ability to design and execute structured call cycles
* Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
* High level of self‐motivation and accountability
* Strong focus on safety and compliance
* Current driver's licence and vehicle
* A National Police Check and Demerit Points Statement will be required prior to commencement
* Willingness to complete a pre‐employment medical check
