We are seeking a Recovery Support Worker to support individuals navigating mental distress to build independence and take steps towards their desired life.
* Daily Tasks:
* Sharing a cuppa and discussing daily recovery goals
* Assisting with budgeting, cooking, and transport planning
* Providing empathetic support during times of distress
* Celebrating small achievements, such as attending group activities
* Logging notes, communicating with the team, or participating in learning sessions
* SUPPORTING family members to understand how to navigate the recovery journey together
You'll Be a Great Fit If:
* You hold a Cert IV in Mental Health, Community Services, or similar, and have experience in mental health
* You possess emotional intelligence, remain calm under pressure, and value teamwork
* You can provide ongoing support during challenging moments, not just complete tasks
* You understand (or are willing to learn) recovery-oriented practice
* You hold a valid driver's licence and necessary background checks
