Could you be our next Tender Procurement Manager we’re seeking, based in one of our three key locations—Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and tendering expertise in a recent cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic team members.
You'll play a key role in shaping the success of our tendering activities by ensuring effective procurement strategies and supplier relationships. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, project management, and legal), negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
You’ll specifically take care of coordinating supplier selection for tenders, but also developing cost-effective procurement plans.
We’ll look to you for:
- Supporting tenders in the Digital and Integrated Systems product line of Alstom and within Rolling Stock.
- Anticipate, prepare and build tenders with robust and competitive cost commitments.
- Drive procurement strategies for tenders.
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align procurement with project goals.
- Providing accurate cost analysis and reporting for tender submissions.
All about you:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of tendering processes and procurement strategies.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Exposure in a similar role within a large, project organisation ideally rail manufacturing or production or engineering.
