Role Overview
We have a 12‐month fixed‐term chance for an experienced Remuneration Specialist to join our People Unit at UTS. The role provides remuneration guidance and support to managers and staff across UTS.
Responsibilities
Assist People Unit Business Partners and client groups with comprehensive remuneration insights, offering expert advice and data analysis to attract and retain talent. Guide People Consultants, Recruitment Advisors, and relevant managers through standard and non‐standard remuneration elements. Manage the annual performance and remuneration processes and conduct regular audits for compliance with employment contracts and industry standards. Ensure accurate application of remuneration and benefits, including base salaries, superannuation, allowances, and incremental rate increases. Conduct benchmarking and specialised market analysis aligned with industry and university sector standards to drive effective compensation decisions. The role is supported by a Remuneration Consultant (HEW7) and reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition & Reward.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $138,882 to $145,495 per annum (HEW9). The position attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. The role is full‐time and on a 12‐month fixed‐term basis.
