About the role:
We are seeking a Technical Quality Manager to be responsible for Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Training across the Group, with respect to ISGroup's Strategic Plan and the individual Business Unit Strategic Plans. The Technical Quality Manager also leads the overall technical compliance, training, leadership, operational procedural guidance, technical delivery performance, efficiency, positive culture, growth and efficiencies of all technical aspects of ISGroup.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage the company's obligation to provide a safe working environment. Promote Safety at all levels of the business
* Ensure staff and self in Business Units of responsibility comply with BMS standards
* Drive strong positive culture within HSEQ and ISGroup as a whole
* Define, implement and manage a training and assessment program for operational employees on commencement with ISGroup
* Define, implement and manage a Quality Assurance program across IS Group to ensure raw data is run through an automated QA process
* Continuously audit all major projects across the business ensuring survey control is undertaken correctly, processes for data storage and delivery are undertaken correctly and to the highest standards
* Undertake site visits across Australia to enable field-based assessments of staff, training, mentoring and compliance assessments
* Drive initiatives in the management team and organization that contribute to long-term operational excellence
You'll thrive in our team if you have:
* A strong understanding and proven capabilities in geodetic processes, control networks and geospatial deliveries
* Proven Project management and delivery experience
* Extensive experience managing multi-discipline teams
Key requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Utility Locating or related discipline
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management (desirable)
