The Quality Training Officer plays a key role in making sure our programs and services are the very best they can be for children, young people, and families.
This role helps our organisation stay safe, reliable, and always improving — so families feel confident, supported, and heard.
As an Quality Training Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our programs meet regulatory requirements, reflect best practice, and continue evolving to meet the needs of our community.
You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help shape the culture of excellence within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve quality frameworks, policies, and procedures
Conduct audits, reviews, and quality assessments across programs
Analyse feedback and data to identify opportunities for improvement
Support learning and development initiatives for staff
Provide guidance on compliance, quality standards, and best practice
Prepare clear reports, documentation, and recommendations
Work collaboratively with leaders and frontline teams to deliver better outcomes
Selection Criteria
Proven comprehensive and effective assessment skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate small groups.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with young people from a range of backgrounds including youth and Indigenous youth.
A proven track record of achieving KPIs and time management skills to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely to suit the purpose e.g. case notes, reports, etc.
Sound Information Technology and administration skills.
Enthusiasm, commitment, flexibility, and positive attitude in working with young participants to achieve outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role
In depth knowledge of the Performance Framework for all programs
Experience with electronic document management systems is desirable
A satisfactory National Police Check and a current Working With Children Check
