About The Role
As the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of high-quality building works. You will coordinate trades, manage subcontractors, and ensure all works are completed in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Monitoring project progress and assisting in meeting program deadlines
* Daily management of Subcontractors and Suppliers
* Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and maintaining a safe work environment
* Conducting daily site inspections and maintaining quality control standards
* Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders
* Coordinating materials, deliveries and site logistics
* Interpreting and implementing site plans
* Conducting toolboxes and site inductions
The Expertise
As the succesful candidate, you will demonstrate:
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry for a minimum of 5 years
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing and site coordination
* Effective leadership and communication skills
* A strong commitment to safety and quality
* Ability to manage competing priorities and excellent time management skills
* A proactive approach to identifying and resolving unforseen issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project delivery
* Current relevant licences:
- General Construction Induction Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Crystalline Silica Awareness
- WHS Risk Management Training
- Qualification in Project Management or equivelant (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Site Supervision (desirable)
- Certificate III in Building and Construction (desirable)
- Current Drivers Licence - Class C
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
