Job Description
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead the workshop's daily operations, driving team performance, productivity, and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinate daily workshop operations and allocate repair orders
* Maximise technician productivity, efficiency, and profitability
* Ensure strong workflow control, on‐time delivery, and quality standards
* Lead, coach, and develop technicians and apprentices
* Work closely with Service Advisors on job progress and customer updates
* Maintain a safe, organised, and high-performing workshop
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
* Previous experience as a Truck Workshop Controller or Foreman (dealership preferred)
* Qualified Heavy Vehicle or Automotive Technician
* Roadworthy Certificate preferred but not essential
* Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and development
* Highly organised with a focus on performance and efficiency
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Current Australian truck driver's licence
