* About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying a commodity strategy in Australia and New Zealand. This 24-month role is based in our Melbourne Office and involves delivering Rollingstock and Maintenance projects in line with Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and launch Request for Quotations to support global and local supplier panels.
2. Maintain close relationships with Commodity Manager teams and tactical buyers on-site to facilitate high-value project requirements and upfront activities.
3. Generate innovative ideas to increase process efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:

Experience in procurement or supply chain management, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and knowledge of procurement processes.
