The role of an Enrolled Nurse is a rewarding and challenging position that requires dedication, empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As an Enrolled Nurse on our Inpatient Mental Health ward, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals who are experiencing acute mental health crises, providing critical and compassionate care to help them stabilise, recover, and prepare for their next steps.
Key Responsibilities
* Working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, provide person-centered care to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
* Conducting nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups, demonstrating effective clinical communication and conflict resolution skills
* Maintaining competence and enhancing skills through participation in professional development opportunities and evidence-based practice
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of excellence in patient care
Requirements
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse
* Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups
* Effective clinical communication and conflict resolution skills
* Participation in professional development opportunities and evidence-based practice
