Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair complex mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Conduct routine maintenance activities, service inspections, and defect repairs to minimize downtime.
* Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs promptly, utilizing knowledge of mechanical plant and equipment.
Requirements
* Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with relevant trade qualifications (Fitting/machining, diesel mechanic, boilermaker/welder).
* At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair, with a proven track record of delivering results.
* Current Class 'C' Australian driver's license, with a strong focus on road safety.
* Expertise in open gearing, gearboxes, hydraulics, diesel generators, and mechanical plant and equipment is essential for success in this role.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position with a 5-day work week, including regular travel to remote locations. The base location is Geraldton, WA, with relocation support available to facilitate a smooth transition.
