About the role
The Aboriginal Allied Health Assistant (AAHA) supports alliedhealth professionals to provide culturally responsive, safe andhigh-quality Allied Health Services within the Central Australiancommunity.
The AHA will support one or more of the following allied healthdisciplines; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, EyeHealth/Vision rehabilitation, Diabetes Nurse education, Audiology,Disability and aged care and/or Dietetics.
This is a new and exciting opportunity to work in a fast-pacedenvironment. The AAHA will work collaboratively with amultidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals to ensure thesmooth running of the Allied Health teams.
This position incorporates support to complete formal training(Certificate III or IV) in Allied Health Assistance for those whohave not yet undertaken formal training.
