Development Engineer (Fibre Optics) – Northam
We are a well-established manufacturer of fibre-optic products serving a variety of industries and we are looking to expand our highly skilled team.
The Development Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting technical issues, conducting application development and testing for customers in Europe, and expanding our product portfolio.
Responsibilities
Support technical issues and conduct application development and testing for customers in Europe.
Perform initial feasibility studies, installation, integration and provide technical support.
Research, create and help expand the division and product lines.
Provide optimisation and application development for cutting-edge customers.
Collaborate with senior management, scientists and academia.
Travel within the UK and Europe as required.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific or engineering discipline.
Knowledge and experience with fibre optics or associated technology.
Strong technical skills and self-motivated, driven individual.
Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills.
