The successful intern would get an exposure to the following duties:
* Prepare and maintain financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly
* Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system
* Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) in a timely manner
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations
* Assist with trust accounting for property management and sales systems, including receipting and reconciliations
* Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in deductions, payments, and reporting
* Provide administrative support such as filing, responding to inquiries, and general bookkeeping tasks.
