About the role
We are seeking a talented Diesel Mechanic to join the team at Graham Thomson Motors' in Shepparton, Victoria. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of a range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. With your proven expertise, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers' vehicles are maintained to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose and repair a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
* Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
* Record all work undertaken and communicate progress to the workshop manager
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting both customer and industry expectations
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety guidelines
What we're looking for
* Minimum Certificate 3 Mechanical trade qualification with 3-5 years of heavy vehicle industry experience
* Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and repair procedures
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex issues
* Commitment to ongoing professional development to keep up with industry changes
* A valid driver's licence and your own tools
