We are hiring for a Customer Care Team Leader to join our National Inside Sales & Customer Care team in Brisbane.
What you'll be doing
* Lead, coach and develop a team of Customer Care and Retention Officers
* Manage day‐to‐day operations – workload, rostering, coverage, and service levels
* Handle escalated customer disputes, ETF negotiations, and settlement decisions
* Own the team's Salesforce reporting and retention performance metrics
* Coordinate with branch operations and credit management to resolve customer issues
* Drive team performance through coaching, one‐on‐ones, and structured development
* Ensure the team follows established retention workflows and compliance processes
About you
* Experienced people leader who can coach, motivate and hold a team accountable
* Confident managing difficult customer conversations and escalated disputes
* Strong written communicator – you can draft professional correspondence under pressure
* Comfortable with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Excel‐based reporting
* Commercially minded – you understand contracts and can balance retention against financial obligations
* Waste management or service‐contract industry experience is a plus, but not essential
