Key Responsibilities:

* Enforce laws, policies, and local regulations.
* Monitor and respond to animal management issues across the municipality.
* Issue fines and act as an authorised officer under relevant legislation.
* Implement animal management programs with a strong focus on education and community awareness.
* Safely handle, trap, and transport animals as required.

Must Have:

* Qualifications in Animal Management or related field.
* Accreditation in Behavioural & Training of Dangerous Animals (Dogs).
* National Police and Working with Children's Clearance.
* Demonstrated experience in dog handling, behaviour, trapping, and transport.

This is a full-time position with generous leave entitlements, offering 6 weeks of annual leave and 3 weeks of personal leave (pro-rata). Employees also benefit from our Wellbeing Strategy, may access salary sacrifice options, a provided uniform, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about wildlife conservation and has the skills and qualifications to make a real difference in our community.
