Remote Hospital Social Work Opportunity
Our team is seeking an experienced and skilled social worker to provide vital support services in a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will have high level skills and cultural competence working with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The role involves providing short-term support, crisis intervention and emotional care in the Emergency Department. We require strong knowledge and experience in domestic violence risk assessment, safety planning and support services.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience working with child protection concerns, including mandatory reporting requirements and collaboration with relevant agencies.
Willpower to work extended hours, including weekends and after-hours shifts on call is also essential for this role.
As a remote hospital social worker, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support.
