About the Role
We're seeking Software Developers with a solid foundation in Python and TypeScript to join our software development team.
You'll help design, build, and support our Analytics web application that interfaces with our IoT feeding systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while working on real-world data problems in automated aquaculture.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop, test, and maintain backend and frontend components for the AQ1 Analytics platform.
Work primarily with
Python (Django)
TypeScript
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, data science, electronics and customer success.
Implement data visualization and insights tools that inform prawn feeding behaviour from time series data.
Assist with code reviews, automated testing, and CI / CD pipelines using Git, devops tools as well as Agile project tools such as Jira.
Build software to run on-prem and cloud using container orchestration such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Participate in sprint planning, team retrospectives, and design discussions.
Write and maintain clear documentation for internal tools and (REST) APIs.
