What you'll be doing
As the Nursing Unit Manager Level 3 Cardiology, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and efficient ward management.
• Lead and coordinate safe, high quality cardiology nursing care
• Manage staffing, budget and resources in line with service priorities
• Foster collaborative multidisciplinary teams and clinical leadership
• Drive best practice, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies and procedures

Essential Criteria
* Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Selection Criteria
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in management, or working towards attainment of same and or extensive clinical experience in a tertiary setting that demonstrates ability to perform the role.
* Demonstrated recent experience and understanding of financial management and accountabilities in relation to stock and effective budget utilisation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead change that results in sustained improvements in patient care, patient flow and resource utilisation.
* Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking related to patient care.
* Proven interpersonal skills including written and verbal.
