The Role of the Area Sales Manager
This position plays a crucial role in servicing our dealer and grower network, collaborating with the sales team to provide expert advice on business development activities and managing assigned projects. Technical services will be undertaken as determined from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Offer expert sales support to the assigned re-seller network.
2. Work proactively toward achieving agreed sales targets.
3. Coordinate closely with Operational Managers to follow up on order management.
4. Ensure timely delivery and payment of all orders.
5. Identify new clients and opportunities to generate contracts, projects, and sales.
6. Prepare, present, and promote Netafim products, proposals, and agreements to clients.
7. Initiate and carry out field days, seminars, and specific training to dealers and growers.
8. Maintain regular 'hands-on' approach with the client base with an attitude based around customers for life.
9. Participate in market development activities with the sales team.
10. Submit quotes using Salesforce for customers requiring special pricing.
