Job Description:
The Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife Transition to Practice Program aims to provide support and guidance to early entry career double degree RN/RM, developing self-confidence, critical thinking, decision making, clinical skills, and clinical competence as part of the multifaceted role of the Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife. The program provides realistic learning experiences to consolidate professional and personal development, aligning with the standards of practice, code of conduct, and national accreditation standards in caring for women throughout their pregnancy, birth, postnatal period, and also infants requiring special care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates must have a strong academic background and relevant clinical experience. A Cover Letter (mentioning if applying for Ballarat or Horsham) or Statement of Career Intent as per PMCV requirements is mandatory. Additionally, candidates must provide a CV including two professional referees, certified copies of Academic transcripts including mid-year results of 4th year, and certified copies of ALL Clinical Appraisals interim and final SUMMARIES (including 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th year of study).
