You are a technically capable Flood Modeller with experience on major civil infrastructure projects and come to us with: Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant skills. 2-7 years post-graduate experience, most likely in consulting engineering or a similar local/state government role, with exposure to medium-large and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. Professional experience with TUFLOW (1D, 2D, combined 1D/2D) is an essential criterion. Flood modelling with other hydraulic modelling packages such as HEC-RAS is desirable Hydrologic analysis (e.g., RORB, RAFTS, etc.) Experience in GIS software such as MapInfo, QGIS and/or ArcGIS. Awareness of ARR2019 guidelines. An ability and desire to work on multidisciplinary projects. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines (Melbourne Water and VicRoads/Austroads standards). Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership will be highly regarded. Drainage design experience would also be highly regarded.
