No optical experience?
No problem! If you have strong retail, fashion, or customer service experience, we’ll provide the training to help you succeed in optical dispensing.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Attributes:
- Strong retail experience (optical experience is a plus but not required)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in styling and an eye for colour coordination
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with robust organisational skills
Desirable Attributes:
- Previous experience in optical dispensing or a related field
- An interest in fashion and eyewear trends
- Comfortable engaging with social media platforms
- Proactive and enjoys problem-solving in a retail setting
- Ambition to pursue formal optical dispensing qualifications (training provided)
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will be a key part of our team, helping customers find the perfect eyewear while delivering an outstanding in store experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style and needs
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong patient relationships
- Handling sales transactions and ensuring a smooth retail experience
- Staying up to date with eyewear trends to offer informed recommendations
- Supporting general administrative and reception tasks as needed
- Helping maintain store presentation and organisation
