Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic technical team as a Process Control Engineer!
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing operational support and maintenance for the process control systems of the Fimiston Plant, Gidji Plant and the Kalgoorlie Air Monitoring Network (KAMN) air quality stations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide operational support and maintenance for the process control systems
* Support the development and continuous improvement of Operational Technologies Systems
* Troubleshoot and resolve end-user Operational Technology System issues
* Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers of hardware, software, and support services
Requirements:
* Minimum two (2) years' experience in a similar role with strong technical aptitude
* Excellent process analysis and technical problem-solving skills
* Keen technical aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly
* Demonstrated ability to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
* Solid understanding of process control fundamentals and advanced control concepts, with excellent process analysis capabilities
* Strong knowledge of mineral processing unit operations
* Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience
* Instrument installation and calibration experience
* Understanding of computer server hardware and Windows operating systems
* Understanding of industrial Ethernet and data communication networks
Preferred Qualifications:
* Current Unencumbered Australian 'C' Class Drivers Licence
* A tertiary qualification in relevant Engineering or related Trade Qualifications
