Introduction Join our Payroll Department (Rates Team) and play a key role in delivering accurate rate quotations, award interpretation services and administrative support. In this role, you’ll support multiple areas of the business, including Temporary and Permanent Recruitment, as well as Apprenticeship and Traineeship services. Your strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and commitment to quality will ensure we continue to deliver high-quality service. What you will do; Determine and maintain pay rates and client charge-out rates in line with applicable awards, enterprise agreements, and contractual terms. Incorporate loadings, allowances, penalty rates, and other award conditions into pay and charge rate structures. Review and update rates in response to Fair Work increases, EBA changes, and legislative amendments Ensure compliance with relevant contracts, service standards, and codes of practice, and assist with audits and compliance reviews relating to payroll and pay rate Prepare accurate and timely internal and external reports in collaboration with the Payroll team Provide data-driven analysis, insights, and recommendations such as efficiency, compliance, and service improvements. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy. About You You enjoy diving into documentation to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards. You are known for your accuracy, proactive communication and willingness to collaborate. You thrive in a team culture where everyone’s contribution is valued and respected. To succeed in this role, you will have; Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail Ability to understand and interpret awards and agreements Commitment to team success Excellent task organisation, time management and prioritisation skills Knowledge of the recruitment industry (desirable) Previous administration experience (ideally within HR or Payroll) This is a Full-Time position, however for the right candidate flexibility of Part time hours will be considered.
