A great opportunity for a Production Clerk (essentially an administration support role) to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville, QLD.

What you will be doing
You will report to the scheduler and support Workshop (technical & general) technicians and supervisors in the administration of maintenance activities for Defence assets. You will collaborate with both Ventia and Defence teams to deliver required outcomes. Your tasks will include a range of general administration, assisting with work orders, time sheet entries, ordering of uniforms/stationery, updating registers, purchase orders etc. ensuring compliance and accuracy in everything you do.
Required Skills and Experience
* Previous administration experience – preferably in a Defence or Maintenance environment
* Sound computer skills (Microsoft suite, SAP & Ariba – preferred)
* Australian citizen with the ability to obtain required Defence Security Clearance
* Good time management, problem solving and communication skills
* Be a self-starter who is proactive and able to use initiative
* Keen interest to learn and develop new skills
