Overview
Barminco seeks experienced and motivated Boilermakers to join the Bellevue Gold Mine team on a full-time basis, working a 7/7 FIFO roster. The role supports underground production within a high‐performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on underground mining equipment and infrastructure
* Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs on mobile plant and fixed equipment
* Inspect, maintain, and repair buckets, booms, trays, guards, and other critical components
* Conduct crack testing, gouging, and rebuilds to OEM and site standards
* Complete pre‐start checks and ensure equipment is safe and compliant for operation
* Accurately record maintenance activities and report defects or hazards
* Work closely with maintenance teams and supervisors to minimise equipment downtime
Qualifications
* Previous experience working as an Underground Boilermaker (mining experience highly regarded)
* Trade qualification in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding)
* Strong welding and fabrication skills (MIG, Stick, Flux Core experience preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
* Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
