Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Manager to oversee the production process and become a key contact between factories and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the production cycle, including vendor onboarding, factory auditing, item creation, product testing, shipment inspection, shipping & booking processes, invoicing.
* Ensure smooth and efficient transfer of customer-specific product, compliance & logistics requirements with factories.
* Coordinate with the Design team for artwork proofing and product/lifestyle shooting.
* Support Head of Production in completing critical tasks and adhering to deadlines.
* Maintain relationships with IT & Finance teams to manage risk, insurance, invoicing, cash flow, and ERP.
Requirements
* 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with major retailers like Kmart, Big W, TJX, ALDI, Costco etc direct or through importers.
* Familiarity with dealing with factories in China for both hard & soft goods.
* Strong knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
* Experience in managing product safety & factory compliance.
* Computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word).
* Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
