 
        
        Overview Director, Specialty Pharmacy & Patient Support Program — Brisbane, CAVera Therapeutics (Nasdaq: VERA) is a late clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing treatments for serious immunological diseases.

This role reports to the Executive Director, Trade Distribution, Specialty Programs and Patient Support Services. 
The position oversees and manages the daily operations and collaboration of the Specialty Pharmacy (SP) network providers and the Patient Support Program (PSP) – HUB to facilitate product distribution and support the patient journey. 
The role leads coordination between Vera field teams (Sales, Field Reimbursement Managers, Regional Marketing Directors) and the Vera SP and PSP-HUB resources. 
It also ensures timely documentation, evaluation, investigation and resolution of escalations to maintain an exceptional patient experience. 
The role provides field team support regarding the Vera Patient Assistance Program (PAP) and 340b Program engagement and is a key member of the Trade & Distribution, Specialty Programs and Patient Support Team.Responsibilities Accountable for developing and managing the field escalation program/process to assure collaboration and communication among field teams, Trade & Distribution, Specialty Pharmacy, Patient Support team and external partners.Collaborate on the development, revision & execution of SP and PSP-HUB programs/services to facilitate initiation and maintenance of patient therapy.Supervise day-to-day SP and PSP-HUB operations to ensure appropriate support across key customer interactions (HCPs/Office Staff, Patients/Caregivers, Vera Field teams). 
Provide field insights for marketing materials to support patient therapy access, HCP adoption of Vera products, and field force training.Develop tools and processes to educate and inform internal and external stakeholders, including data, dashboards and stakeholder presentations.Work with sales personnel, HCPs, SP and HUB partners to monitor program performance and identify revisions based on real-time data and issues.Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with Vera contracted external partners.Collaborate with the Executive Director and Senior Directors to ensure all programs are compliant and audit-ready.Attend selected major conventions and conferences with defined objectives related to Vera's Trade and Distribution, SP, and PSP-HUB programs.Add value by assisting field personnel with patient onboarding via the HUB program and therapy procurement via a limited distribution specialty pharmacy network.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications 10+ years' experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry.10+ years of Trade and Distribution, Specialty Pharmacy and Patient Support Program and HUB experience, including product launch or line extension experience.Proven ability to build team-oriented relationships with internal and external decision-makers/partners.Experience in external partner communications, management and compliance monitoring.Experience balancing strategic considerations between internal functions and field teams.Strong relationship-building, organizational, communication and entrepreneurial skills to deliver best-in-class programs.Ability to use data and metrics to inform recommendations and decisions.Commitment to Vera's mission and values as the cultural foundation of the role.Vera Therapeutics Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
