Senior Laboratory Team Leader
We are seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Team Leader to lead our laboratory team and drive operational excellence in delivering high-quality production services to clients. This role requires a strong leadership focus on guiding the Production team to ensure accurate sampling, timely analysis, and clear reporting that meets client expectations.
* Lead and supervise daily laboratory operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
* Direct team activities to comply with organisational policies, procedures, risk management practices, and industry standards.
* Manage team rostering, payroll, leave to align with production requirements, while promoting work-life balance and employee well-being.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, training to team members to develop technical skills, knowledge, personal competencies, and career growth opportunities.
* Oversee sampling, preparation, analysis, validation, reporting processes, including quality control measures, data integrity, and compliance monitoring.
* Maintain monitor the quality, compliance system, conducting regular audits, inspections, and performance assessments.
* Promote continuous improvement by reviewing processes, identifying inefficiencies, implementing solutions, best practices, and innovation.
* Foster strong teamwork collaboration within the branch, across other teams, and external stakeholders, while building and maintaining positive client relationships.
* Prepare submit regular reports to management, including production results, financial data, KPIs, and turnaround times, to inform business decisions and drive success.
