For more than 25 years, Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes has thrived as a co-educational secondary school, educating young people from Years 7-12 under the umbrella of the Lutheran Church in Australia. About the role
Permanent - Part Time – 0.6 FTE (up to 45 hours per fortnight)
The Risk & Compliance Officer will work collaboratively across our community to ensure that all regulatory and legislative obligations are met and adhered too. This role will be a central point of contact for risk and compliance matters.
Whilst advertised as a part-time, there may be some ability to negotiate the number of hours and or weeks worked throughout the year with the successful candidate.

About you
You are highly organised, have excellent communications skills and have an ability to build strong relationships with a collaborative, customer service-oriented approach.
You will have experience implementing and maintaining effective risk management systems, knowledge and experience of interpreting legislation, policy development and a strong understand of WHS requirements. We expect the successful candidate to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, be organised and efficient in their management of data and records, having a focus on process improvement.
You will have the following mandatory requirements:
* Working with Children Check. WWCC (current)
* Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Certificate. RRHAN-EC (current)
* Relevant tertiary or certificate qualifications
* Return to Work Coordinator (desirable)
* Demonstrated passion, interest, experience and skills in a wide range of activities relating to Risk Management, Health and Safety, policy and procedures, research and data analysis and reporting
* Experience interpreting legislation and implementing required processes
