We are proud of our ever-expanding portfolio of projects covering tank and bridge engineering and construction, terminal expansions, infrastructure remediation, technical EPCM services and industrial electrical/process automation solutions.

Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Saunders team on a Permanent full-time basis. The role is initially based in Kalgoorlie and will be offered on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) basis from major cities across Australia, operating on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster.


Responsibilities

* Project performance in line with Project KPIs for SHEQ, Budget and Schedule
* Champion safety, health, and environment by demonstrating a personal commitment to Saunders' Safety, Health and Environment policies to achieve a workplace free from incidents, discrimination, and harassment
* Manage and oversee the planning, coordination, day to day operations, project management and reporting of construction projects
* Develop, implement and ensure compliance to Project execution plans and procedures in line with company and client policies and procedures
* Lead stakeholder management on behalf of Saunders International
* Drive each project to successful completion to be delivered on-time, on-budget and to the required quality, with no safety incidents
* Be solution focused, converting challenges into positive outcomes
* Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the customer
* Continue to look for opportunities to grow Saunders revenue and margin
* Lead and support the Project team to foster a high performing and continuous improvement culture with strong engagement and commitment


Project Execution

* Lead the planning and execution of Project in accordance with the contract
* Understand, administer and manage change of the Project scope and contracts
* Develop and implement Project execution plans and procedures
* Develop and support team performance in line with team objectives and KPIs
* Manage the Project schedule, budget and risk with robust project controls
* Project reporting, monitoring, controls and governance


About You

* Degree or Trade qualification in engineering, construction, or project management field
* Minimum 5 years' project management and site construction experience in the relevant industry/environment as well as experience in delivering lump sum duration-based projects
* Oil and Gas / Mining experience (desirable)
* Tank Program Management experience (desirable)
* Goal oriented with ability to motivate a high performing team to deliver results
* Focussed on solutions to problems and continuous improvement
