Occupational Health Nurse Position
This role focuses on providing timely and competent medical treatment, advice, and support to employees and contractors at our operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and experience working in remote areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing immediate care and guidance to all personnel to minimize injury effects and maximize recovery rates.
* Enhancing employee awareness of health issues and promoting healthy lifestyle options.
* Delivering training programs that equip staff with essential skills and knowledge for injury management and prevention.
* Collaborating with management to provide accurate statistics and insights for injury prevention initiatives.
* Developing and delivering advanced emergency first aid training to site teams.
* Assisting with managing Workers' Compensation cases effectively.
About You
To excel in this role, you should be a registered nurse with:
* Active registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory body.
* Current immunization certificates and HLTPAT005 drugs of abuse testing qualifications.
* A valid C-class manual driver's license.
* Previous experience in emergency or remote area nursing roles.
* In-depth knowledge of injury management and rehabilitation practices.
* The ability to work autonomously and align with site medical guidelines.
* Approved Audiometric Officers Certificate and expertise in spirometry testing.
